In the dark, quiet morning, an amazing sound stopped Juan Diego in his tracks. Was he dreaming? He was not. He was about to meet the Mother of our Lord. This visit from Mary changed Juan’s life forever and has influenced the faith of many people since.

Discover the true story of Saint Juan Diego’s conversations with Mary, our Mother, and the evidence of her loving presence that she left behind.

Sister Marlyn Evangelina Monge, FSP, and artist Amy Rodriguez vividly recreate the setting and events surrounding Mary’s appearances on Tepeyac Hill in 1531. Our Lady of Guadalupe and Her Dear Juanito features some of the actual dialogue between Our Lady and Saint Juan Diego, faithfully translated from the earliest Spanish-language account of the apparition, and includes an illustrated guide to the rich symbolism of the image of Our Lady of Guadalupe, a brief glossary, and prayers.
