In an age of loneliness and distraction, it can be easy to forget God's presence in our daily lives—until we are confronted with a transcendent event like a birth, death, or marriage that points us beyond ourselves. Father Damian Ference meditates on the ways that our everyday life points us to the mystery of who God is and what he has done for us. With candor, Father Ference draws upon the strange and mundane experiences that make up our everyday life to awaken readers to the radical truths that surround them: that God holds the world in existence, that He became man, and that He sacrificed himself for us. Crystal-clear catechesis and pop culture come together in this ingenious introduction to the foundational truths and teachings of the Catholic Faith. Perfect for anyone looking for an introduction to the Catholic Faith or finding creative ways to share it, as well as for OCIA (formerly RCIA) candidates, campus ministers, catechists, and pastors. Winner of a Catholic Media Association award.
