Everyone knows who Mother Teresa is, but do they know the story of her life? This beautifully illustrated book tells the story of the saint of Calcutta in an engaging narrative for children ages 8 to 10. Starting with her early life as a devout young girl growing up in Albania, the book follows Mother Teresa's journey through religious life, her founding of the Missionaries of Charity, and her unceasing dedication to the poor. With each story, children will see how Mother Teresa committed herself to follow God's will. Her story also inspires children to advocate for the poor and suffering around them.

With text written and illustrations designed specifically for this age group, the book succeeds in captivating second-, third-, and fourth-grade readers with an intriguing true story and warm visuals. The story of the saint of Calcutta is more than a biography of Mother Teresa; it stirs a sense of social justice and encourages children to live a life of humble sanctity.
