A fresh take on the Ten Commandments through the lens of popular movies! Enliven your study of the Christian faith with this engaging dialogue between Scripture, the Ten Commandments, and film. Co-authored by Catholic media literacy experts Sister Rose Pacatte, FSP, and Father Peter Malone, MSC, this insightful resource for Bible study leaders, homilists, faith formation programs, and religious educators models faith-filled, critical engagement with popular culture while illuminating the truth of the Gospel. Includes three movies for each commandment—one for general adult audiences, one to facilitate more in-depth discussion, and one that treats more complex issues—accompanied by a synopsis and commentary, discussion questions, and suggested prayers to invite viewers to grapple with the drama of the moral life and consider what a faith-filled, informed, Christian response to life's situations can look like.
