First Communion

Liguori’s easy-to-use First Communion program, written by the much-loved Francine M. O’Connor, reinforces the importance of the sacrament of the Eucharist and the message that Jesus loves us. The eight nested handouts include topics such as Jesus Shows His Love, A Wonderful Gift, This Is My Body, A Time to Remember and Celebrate, and We Though Many Are One. The program uses a variety of techniques that hold a child’s attention. Classroom activity pages reinforce the lessons. There are also notes to parents which review the material covered and suggest ways they can get involved in the sacramental preparation of their child.
